Soompi had given me quite a number of surprises since yesterday. Despite the fact that soompi is something of public, I can’t help but feel how personal this place have hit home run in me. My heart won’t let me rest – I just know I have to write this…
Yesterday I posted this on a happy note. A few hours later a co-warrior, smr05@soompi, translated the accompanying comment that YEH posted on her cy:

Translation:

I couldn’t help but feel sad for her. She’s trying to enjoy her much deserved break and yet she can’t help but feel empty… I understand her; I who have only followed, watched and loved Go Eun Chan and Coffee Prince from a far for two months still feels sad and lost now that its over, what more for her when she was the one who breathed life to EC, work hard on the filming and has to separate with the people she has grown to love for more or less four months… T_T

Now that I’ve finished writing this and having been able to finally watch the last cup and the special episode of CP with subs which have been a “tears festival” for me (damn, watching these again made me miss the whole cast so much I was literally bawling my eyes out last night) I guess I can and should resume to studying now.

It didn’t hit me until I woke up this morning. Reality check – Coffee Prince 1st shop is over…
My heart wouldn’t be still, this time it has defeated my mind in trying to control the situation. I rushed my mourning routine (I skipped breakfast! I never skip breakfast, nor eating, if food is already served and waiting, but today is different. I’d rather die of hunger than confine myself from seeing My Chan minutes more later) – I’m so glad my mom is out of the house or else she would have witnessed my reckless floor sweeping. It doesn’t really matter if I finish my morning tasks a minute later or earlier, but shouting “My Chan” as I bathe, dress, sweep the floor, etc., had given me away: “I miss Eun Chan”.
Being a hardcore CP fan justifying the bittersweet ending is instinctively on top of my mindset. Many have been disappointed… I thought I was too after hearing my self say “that’s it? that’s it? More, I want more…” while devouring down the last few minutes of the last episodes, stealing glances at the time, hoping there’ll be something more. But my disappointment didn’t come from the subtle and toned down ending of CP. In fact, after two hours of letting the hyped emotion waver down I saw the beauty of it. I admit, some more things could have done to make it better, probably a montage of Eun Chan & Han Kyul in more lovey-dovey cuts (Can’t help it, I love the couple too much :p) just to give the 16-epidoses-built-up-in-anticipation viewers an extra tinge of happiness (not that the drama is lacking of it. IMHO it’s actually over flowing with it – and we all LOVED it! *(^o^)* Nevertheless, over all, the last cup is wonderfully and tastefully done. The couple couldn’t even stop touching & feeling each other from the very second the last episode started rolling. (♥ ♥) It’s major cotton-candy-sweetness to the max! Sugar-coated, marinated in vanilla, dipped in chocolate syrup – served and topped with strawberry chunks. My dentist, who I haven’t visited for a loooooong time won’t be too happy with me for sure. LOL
Han Kyul sang! Have you seen and heard it? Dang! I bet the YOOgals were sent to heaven last night. I wouldn’t dare call my self a YOOgal yet but I sure soared above the great blue sky yesterday with angels fluttering about everywhere when he started serenading Eun Chan. Yep, I’m no Yoogal but I probably won’t find a boyfriend in a much longer time because of him. (^ ^)

But as much as this drama is filled with all those sweetness, the boxes of tissues that had been emptied cannot be overlooked as well. Farewells truly are heart breaking…
… and Yoo Ju and Han Seung ajusshi lost their baby too . (T_T)
I’ve read a lot of comments wanting to see a “wedding scene”, “a few years after showing little ECs & HKs running about the coffee shop” and a few cry for sequels (as expected.kekeke). I say forget about it; don’t overshadow this wonderful episode with “I want a wedding scene” and “I don’t like to see a k-drama cliché but I still want a big one mind blowing one anyway” uproar. As how I see it the depression and disappointment we felt was not and could not be blamed at CPs ending nor it’s PD. Rather, it was because neither anyone of us wants to let CP go. It’s done. The last cup had been served, but we have been found wanting more. (ㅠ.ㅠ) We must now slowly and gradually learn to let go. *sniff*

Alas it has started! The CP withdrawal will soon take its rightful toll.

Okay… things are definitely changing now. First the hair, the awkward first times, the treatment, the hidden desires (HDs) *wink* in episode 13, then now with all the lovey-dovey cuteness and everything in episode 14 *happily dying in a pink room* LOL
Before all these tooth aching sweetness started I’ve been gushing at only one person for 11 episodes running a marathon while carrying a banner which says: “EC is <3”. Don’t get me wrong, I adore all the coffee princes. In fact, I love all the CP characters – from the dad to halmoni, the butcher to the cousin… The major difference now is that GY sure is officially melting me with his cuteness and hotness and because of that I have finally accepted that EC is a girl and that she is so destined to be happy forever with HK (you better make her happy imma!). With these said I shall now change my caption – from “EC is <3” it shall now be “CP is <333 to the nth power”.
Have you seen HKs surprised and “I’m in love” expressions? Priceless!. LOL
What more can beat the cuteness of a boyfriend wanting to steal her girlfriends attention and vice versa? 하 하 하… Of course there’s always the jealousy scenes and all but this one won me over today ^________^
EC should stay away from HK while he’s in a bed or else HK will soon self-destruct with temptation while naïve EC remains oblivious to the tension burning HK inside. Stolen kisses of attempt hugs wouldn’t be enough. Poor ajushi. LOL
YJs pregnant and HS is in heaven happy. Awww… I kind of feel that YJ is scared of the whole pregnancy thing but I’m glad she’s accepted it and is making efforts to change old bad habits.
Everything seems to be going so well until cool grandma started becoming “un-cool” showering glares, spitting curse-like accusations coupled with a flaring nose and bulging eye sockets – Ohh… scawey! Halmoni please don’t get angry anymore eh? I’ll buy you poppins (sp?). *grin* Accept EC in the family already so that we can all then be merry! Come on and be a COOL grandma again, *smile wide* besides, it’s not like HKs getting any younger *whistle* and I’m sure you’ll be thankful that your grandson didn’t turn out to be gay. ㅋㅋㅋ
